Wolgotporu Estuary
Description
Wolgotporu of Siheung-si, is located in the south-western coast of Gyeonggi-do, on the opposite of Soraepogu. It is close to the Seohaean Highway and the Second Gyeongin Highway, which proves to be very convenient to be accessed from anywhere in the country. It is not well-known but used by fifty to sixty ships. It has gained a popularity among those who enjoy fishing. Here you can enjoy fresh sea foods and buy fish, pickled fish, sea shells, and dried fish at a cheap price at the fishery joint market. It has various entertainment and accommodation facilities with a leisure complex on the 29,752 ground.
Transportation
Bus: Take the bus #1 from Gaebong Station of the Red Line to the Wolgot fishery market stop.
Or, take the bus #33 or #35 from Ansan Station of the Blue Line to the last stop.
Car: Take the Seohaean Expressway to go to the Wolgot Interchange and turn left toward Wolgot-ri.
