Sanjeong Lake Resort

Sanjeong Lake is located in Yeongbuk-myeon, Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do. To the far end of the lake is Mt.Myeongseongsan which casts the shadows of its high peaks on the lake. The beauty of the region is enhanced by two nearby waterfalls, the Deungryong and Biseon Waterfalls, and Jainsa Temple. Taking a walk along the lake's promenade is an opportunity not to be missed. There are a variety of other facilities such as the boating area, bungalows, and playgrounds.
Designated as a national tourist site in March, 1922, Sanjeong Lake welcomes more than 700,000 visitors a year. In August of 1996, Hanhwa Condominiums, built at the very entrance of the tourism complex, went into business and currently provides a wide array of facilities including swimming pools, bowling alleys, and saunas. With the recently opened snow sledding and ice-skating rinks, the region is equipped to and ice-skating rinks, the region is equipped to accommodate tourists all year round. At dawn, on an early summer's day, a wet-fog rises from the lake as if to create a scene out of a lamps that light up along the lake's promenades exude a fantasy-like ambiance.

Take a bus for Sincheolwon at Sangbong Bus Terminal and get off at Uncheon. There is a bus every 15 minutes. It takes about 1hour 20 minutes Take a bus for Sanjeong Lake at Uncheon.
Car: From Suyuri, take state route #43 in the direction of Uijeongbu. Pass Pocheon-Eup, go straight towards the Manse-gyo bridge checkpoint and make a right at the Seongdong 3-way intersection. Then, turn left at the checkpoint 3-way intersection, turn right at the Bunam 4-way intersection to reach the Sanjeong-hosu parking lot.
