Dora Observatory
Description
From the observatory, located in Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do, you can enjoy a good view from the statute of Kim-Il-seong to Mt.Songaksan. It was established by the Ministry of Defense in 1986. Civilians need to get a prior permission from the military to visit. For application, please contact the Imjin-gak Office of the Korea Veterans Association.
Transportation
Bus: A shuttle bus (excluding Monday and national holdidays) from Imjin - gak at one hour interval between 10:00-15:00. (Fare:5,000 won)
Course: Tongil Village - The 3rd Tunnel - Dora Observatory (about two and half hours)
