Description
The museum in Goyang-dong, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, displays the Latin America's cultural heritages, history, and social lives from the ancient period to the modern era covering the civilization of Maya, Inca, and Aztec. It was opened in October 1994 as the first foreign culture museum in the country. Displayed here are the earthenware used by the Indians who settled in the highlands of Mexico and Peru and masks used by Mexicans. There are four display rooms-Mask Room, Traditional Arts Crafts Room, Stone-and Wooden-ware Room, and Earthenware Room.


Transportation
Bus: #158-3 from Gupabal Station of the orange Line to Goyang-dong and walk for about five minutes.

Car: Road #1 to pass the Gupabal Intersection to take Road #39 for Uijeongbu.
