Yakam Hot Springs - Kimpo, Kyonggi Province
Though it is smaller in size Yakam Hot Springs, located in Kimpo, has grown to become a popular destination for residents of Seoul and Kyonggi Providence since it opened in 1994.
It is most famous for its pools of lithium spring water and red saltwater. Both rich in dissolved minerals they are believed to be helpful in improving blood circulation and alleviating anemia and stress.
Many of Yakam Hot Springs visitors round up their day by dropping by the many seafood restaurants lined up by the nearby Taemyong port.
