Nawonri 5-Story Stone Pagoda
One of the Best Three Stone Pagodas in Gyeongju
Nawonri 5-story stone pagoda is the third biggest stone pagoda placed after Gameunsaji 3-story stone pagoda and Goseonsaji 3-story stone pagoda in Gyeongju.
Designated as National Treasure No.39, this pagoda is as high as 8.8 meters and made of white granite.
It is often called Nawon white pagoda since it retains its pure white color and is no covered with moss. The well-organized structure and beautiful proportions perform a grand atmosphere.
It is a little difficult to go visiting this pagoda, however, you can be fully rewarded with the magnificent stone figure and beautiful surroundings.
