Girimsa Temple
This temple, built in 643, is located at foot of Mt. Hamwolsan and is surrounded by a thick forest.
It was a huge temple, having control of Bulguksa Temple when it was built.
However, it lost its influence and is now a calm and solemn temple.
Simple, as well as magnificent halls are located inside the temple.
There is also a memorial, Maewoldang Shrine,for Kim Si-seup and a museum.
A lacquered seated Buddha statue in museum is unique, having been made from paper, fabric and sawdust.
It designated National Treasure NO.415.
